Monster Painting Group!!

A group of fellow artists (and dear friends) and I gathered in my studio this winter to paint monsters into paintings that we found at thrift stores! Inspired by viral images of monsters in thrift store paintings  shared on Facebook, we loved the idea so much that we decided to gather together and create our own! Each artist selected a thrift store painting ranging from $.50 to $15 and designed and painted a "monster" in that environment. The wonderful creative creatures that emerged have brought the paintings to life! The monster paintings will be displayed/ up for sale at Interzone Coffehouse during the month of March 2013!! Check out the article in the Corvallis Advocate about the show!!
